Understand TrafficCreator Balance Tiers
TrafficCreator keeps four independent balances — Economy (legacy only), Professional, Expert, and SEO (GSC/Local) — and billing draws from whichever tier a campaign is set to use.
This is the billing-focused view of tiers. For help choosing which one to actually run campaigns in, see Choose the right traffic tier — this page covers only how the tiers relate to your balance and billing.
Quick Reference#
| Tier | Sold to new customers? | Billed separately? |
|---|---|---|
| Economy | No — legacy accounts only | Yes, its own balance |
| Professional | Yes | Yes, its own balance |
| Expert | Yes | Yes, its own balance |
| SEO (GSC/Local) | Yes | Yes, its own balance |
Funds purchased for one tier cannot be spent in another — see How TrafficCreator balances work for the full billing mechanics.
Before adding funds or investigating an empty balance, open the affected project and note its selected tier. Compare that label with the balance you are viewing. A funded Expert balance does not establish that a Professional campaign has funds available; each tier has its own billing balance.
Check the tier and quantity shown on the purchase before completing a payment. When reviewing an earlier purchase, keep its transaction or invoice reference, purchase date and selected tier together. Those details help identify which balance the purchase belongs to without changing the campaign configuration.
If a completed purchase appears in your transaction history but the expected tier balance is unclear, include the project ID, tier and transaction reference in a support ticket. Describe what the account currently shows and what you expected. Share the relevant reference and a redacted screenshot rather than passwords, API keys or full payment-card details.
