How Country and City Targeting Works in TrafficCreator
Every tier supports country-level targeting with a percentage split across selected countries; city-level targeting is available on the Expert tier only , via a "States & Cities" button next to each selected country.
Where To Find City Targeting#
On an Expert-tier project, each country you select gets its own States & Cities button (locked on Professional and Economy). Clicking it opens the Regional Targeting side panel, where you search and pick states or cities within that country, then confirm with Done.
Steps#
- In the Geo step, select one or more countries — use a region quick-filter (English-speaking, Europe, DACH, Nordic, Asia Pacific) or search individually.
- Adjust the percentage split per country, or use Distribute Evenly.
- On Expert, each country row shows a States & Cities button — click it to open Regional Targeting and pick specific states/cities within that country.
Troubleshooting#
| Problem | What to check |

| States & Cities button is greyed out | City-level targeting is Expert-only; Professional and Economy support country-level only. |
| Regional Targeting panel shows "No regions configured" | This means proxy geo-data isn't synced for that account/environment — contact support if this happens on a real Expert-tier account, since it should list real states/cities. |
| Percentages don't total 100% | Adjust individual country percentages, or use Distribute Evenly to reset them automatically. |
