Direct Mode vs Proxy Mode in TrafficCreator
Professional and Expert route traffic through residential proxy IPs by default, which is what makes country/city targeting and GA4-visible organic-looking behavior possible; direct delivery without proxy routing is not the standard path for these tiers.
Why Proxy Routing Is the Default#
- Residential IPs let traffic appear to come from real consumer connections in your targeted countries.
- This is required for accurate country-level (and Expert city-level) targeting.
- It's part of why Professional and Expert deliver more realistic GA4 signals than a purely direct connection would.
