Fix Problems with AI Assistants and the API
Find the message or symptom you see. Most problems are about access (sign-in, key, read only) or about the campaign itself (balance, GA4, clicks).
Connecting and Signing In#

| The app can't connect to the server | Check that the address is exactly https://traffic-creator.com/mcp. |
| Sign-in page says This sign-in request has expired | You waited more than 15 minutes. Start connecting again from the app. |
| Sign-in page warns Not verified | We could not confirm which app is asking. Only continue if you started the connection yourself, from an app you trust. |
| The app worked, now it says you need to sign in again | You changed your password, signed out everywhere, or disconnected the app. Connect it again. |
The app reports an invalid key, 401 or Unauthorized | The key is wrong or was revoked. Keys are also revoked when you change your password or sign out everywhere. Create a new key under API & MCP and update the app's setup. |

Changing Things#
| What you see | What to do |

API scope or server IP not permitted | The key or app has Read only access, or your account only allows approved server IP addresses. Create a full-access key, or disconnect the app and connect it again choosing Full access. For IP addresses, contact support. |
| The assistant asks for permission before creating or resuming | This is intended: these tools spend credits. Check the cost preview, then allow it. |
Please verify your email address before creating a project | Verify your e-mail address in the dashboard, then try again. |
Insufficient … balance | The wallet that pays doesn't have enough credits for the campaign's total. Add credits, shorten the campaign, or pick another wallet with tier. |
| Error 429 | Too many requests. Wait a minute: each key can make 10 changes and 60 reads per minute. |
Traffic Creator API is unreachable right now … retry shortly | A short interruption on our side. Wait a minute. Before you ask the assistant to create a campaign again, ask it to list your campaigns: if the first attempt went through, the campaign is already there. |
Campaign Results#

Status pending_ga, reason Missing valid GA4 Measurement ID | No GA4 Measurement ID was found on the page. Add your G-… ID to the campaign in the dashboard, then resume it. Nothing is delivered or charged while it waits. |
Resume fails with A valid GA4 Measurement ID is required … | Same as above: add the GA4 Measurement ID first. |
| A Search Console campaign shows no clicks yet | Search campaigns count verified clicks after a Google search for your keyword. The first clicks can take a while, and statistics are in UTC. Check the latest run in the dashboard. |
| The assistant's numbers differ from GA4 | The assistant reports our delivery records. GA4 filters and delays some visits. See Why GA4 totals differ from delivered visits. |
