Authenticate TrafficCreator API Requests

Send your API key as the X-API-KEY header on every request — there is no separate OAuth flow for standard API access.

Steps#

  1. Generate an API key from your account (see Generate or reset your API key).
  2. Add it to every API request as a header:
X-API-KEY: your-api-key-here
  1. Make a simple GET request first to confirm authentication works before building further integrations.

Troubleshooting#

ProblemWhat to check
Requests return unauthorizedConfirm the X-API-KEY header is present and spelled exactly, and that the key hasn't been regenerated since you copied it.
Key was regenerated but old integration still runsThe old key is invalidated immediately on regeneration — update your integration with the new key.
