Introduction

In today's digital landscape, attracting the right audience from the right location to your website is essential for SEO and local rankings. This guide will help you understand the main benefits of our geotargeting feature, how it works, and best practices. Let's get started.

What is Geotargeting?

Geotargeting is a powerful feature offered by website traffic generator services and software, allowing you to control the geographical sources of your website's visitors. This targeted approach ensures that your content, promotions, and advertisements resonate with your website's specific demographics. By leveraging geotargeting, businesses can optimize their online presence and achieve better rankings in their chosen country.

All our traffic plans include country-specific geotargeting. Upon request, we can direct website traffic from specific states and cities of your choice. We have a total of 98,931 available locations ready for you.

Note: If you need traffic from a specific state or city, please contact our support for more information.

How Geotargeting Works

To support a feature like geotargeting, we utilize millions of datacenter and residential IPs daily. We collaborate with the largest IP proxy providers to ensure a stable and safe supply of datacenter and residential IPs for our traffic. This feature offers the flexibility to choose from 195 countries and 98,931 available locations.

Is Your Country Available?

Search here for your location to see if it is available. For state and city targeting, please contact us with the specific location you need traffic for and the amount of visitors you need per month.

Setting Up and Implementing Geotargeting

1. Sign In

Log in to your Traffic Creator account at using the login details sent to you via email.

2. Access Settings

Navigate to the projects overview and select the project you want to adjust at Project List.

3. Choose Locations

Scroll down to the Geotargeting section and select the desired countries from which you want to draw traffic. If you want a global mix, select "global" for geotargeting and leave the field for countries empty.

4. Save and Activate

Save your project to apply the changes and activate the new geotargeting settings.

Best Practices

Multiple Countries: You can select as many countries, states, and cities as you want in your project.

Dividing Country Traffic: If you select two countries, your traffic will be split 50/50. If you select three countries, your traffic will be split 33/33/33.

Adjustments for Small Countries: In some cases, we will adjust the amount of traffic from smaller countries if you buy large amounts of traffic. For example, if you select the USA (population: 330M) and Luxembourg (population: 653,000) and run a platinum project with 1,000,000 visitors per month, we may adjust the traffic distribution to account for the smaller population of Luxembourg.

By following these steps, you can effectively manage your website traffic, ensuring it aligns with your marketing objectives and reaches the most relevant audience.
