Before You Begin: Requirements
To pay with Ethereum on Traffic Creator, you'll need:
- An Ethereum wallet with sufficient ETH to cover your purchase
- Basic understanding of how to send Ethereum from your wallet
- A Traffic Creator account
Caution: Ethereum transactions are irreversible. Always double-check the payment details before confirming your transaction. Traffic Creator cannot reverse or refund incorrect Ethereum payments that were sent to the wrong address.
Step-by-Step Guide to Paying with Ethereum
Step 1: Select Your Traffic Plan
- Log in to your Traffic Creator account
- Navigate to Dashboard → New Purchase
- Select your desired traffic type, volume, targeting options, and other settings
- Important: Uncheck the "Subscribe" option, as Ethereum payments are only available for one-time purchases
- Click Continue to Payment

Step 3: Complete the Ethereum Payment
- You'll be presented with:
- An Ethereum payment address (a string starting with "0x")
- The exact amount of ETH to send (calculated based on the current exchange rate)
- A QR code that you can scan with your mobile wallet app
- A payment expiration timer (usually 15-30 minutes)
- Open your Ethereum wallet application or website
- Initiate a "Send" transaction
- Enter the provided Ethereum address exactly as shown or scan the QR code with your wallet app's camera
- Enter the exact ETH amount specified on the payment page
- Set an appropriate gas fee (transaction fee) - higher fees generally mean faster processing
- Confirm and authorize the transaction in your wallet

Important Notes About Gas Fees:
When sending Ethereum, you'll need to pay a "gas fee" to the network. Keep these points in mind:
- Gas fees are separate from your purchase amount and go to Ethereum miners, not to Traffic Creator
- Gas fees fluctuate based on network congestion - during busy periods, fees can be significantly higher
- Most modern wallets suggest appropriate gas fees, but you can often adjust them based on how quickly you want the transaction to be processed
- If you set your gas fee too low, your transaction might take a long time to confirm or could get "stuck"
Step 4: Wait for Confirmation
- After sending the payment, the system will typically detect your transaction within a few minutes
- The payment page will update to show that your transaction has been detected
- Once your transaction receives sufficient blockchain confirmations (usually 12-15 for Ethereum), you'll be redirected to a confirmation page
- Your Traffic Creator credits will be added to your account, and your campaign will be set up according to your specifications

Understanding Ethereum Transaction Confirmations
When you send Ethereum, the transaction goes through a confirmation process on the blockchain:
Pending (0 confirmations)
Your transaction has been broadcast to the Ethereum network but hasn't been included in a block yet. The payment is visible to Traffic Creator but will not be processed until it receives confirmations.
Confirmed (12+ confirmations)
Your transaction has been included in at least 12 blocks on the blockchain. Traffic Creator typically requires 12-15 confirmations before considering an Ethereum payment complete, depending on the amount.
The time it takes to receive confirmations can vary from a few minutes to over an hour, depending on:
- The gas fee you included
- Current network congestion
- The complexity of your transaction
Troubleshooting Ethereum Payments
If your payment isn't being detected after 30 minutes:
- Verify that you sent the exact amount to the correct address
- Check if the transaction appears in a blockchain explorer like Etherscan
- Check if your transaction is pending due to a low gas fee
- For transactions with very low gas fees, consider using a "speed up" or "replace" transaction feature in your wallet if available
- Contact our support team with your Traffic Creator username, the Ethereum transaction hash (TXID), and a screenshot of the transaction from your wallet or a blockchain explorer
If the payment timer expired:
- DO NOT send payment to the expired address
- Start the purchase process again to generate a new payment address and amount based on the current exchange rate
- If you already sent funds to an expired address, contact our support team immediately with your transaction details
If you sent a different amount than what was requested:
- Sent less: Your payment may not be processed automatically. Contact support with your transaction details, and they may request you to send the remaining amount.
- Sent more: The system will process your payment for the ordered amount. Contact support regarding the excess amount, and they will assist with either crediting your account or processing a refund.
If your Ethereum transaction is stuck in a pending state for an extended period:
- Check the current gas prices on Etherscan's Gas Tracker to see if network congestion is high
- Many wallets offer options to "speed up" or "replace" a pending transaction with a higher gas fee:
- In MetaMask, find the pending transaction in your Activity tab and click "Speed Up"
- In other wallets, look for similar options in your transaction history
- If your wallet doesn't have these options, you may need to wait until the network is less congested or the transaction eventually fails and returns to your wallet
- For advanced users, you can try sending a 0 ETH transaction to yourself with the same nonce as the stuck transaction but with a higher gas price (consult your wallet's documentation for how to do this)
Ethereum Transaction Fees and Exchange Rates
When paying with Ethereum, be aware of these financial considerations:
- Exchange Rate: The ETH amount is calculated using a real-time exchange rate at the moment you reach the payment page. This rate is locked in for the duration of the payment timer (typically 15-30 minutes).
- Gas Fees: You'll need to pay Ethereum network gas fees, which are separate from your Traffic Creator purchase amount. These fees go to Ethereum miners who process transactions, not to Traffic Creator.
- Fee Volatility: Ethereum gas fees can be highly volatile. During periods of high network congestion, gas fees can sometimes exceed $50 or more for a simple transaction.
- Processing Fee: Traffic Creator may charge a small processing fee for cryptocurrency payments. This fee, if applicable, will be displayed during checkout.
Pro Tip: If you're not in a hurry, you can save on gas fees by making your Ethereum payment during periods of lower network activity, such as weekends or late at night (UTC time). Check Etherscan's Gas Tracker for current gas prices before initiating your transaction.
Layer 2 Solutions and Alternatives
Ethereum's main network (Layer 1) can sometimes have high gas fees. Traffic Creator also supports some Ethereum-based tokens on more cost-effective networks:
- USDT (Ethereum): A stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, running on the Ethereum network
- USDT (Polygon): The same stablecoin but on the Polygon network, which offers much lower fees
- USDC (Ethereum): Another USD-pegged stablecoin on the Ethereum network
- USDC (Polygon): The same stablecoin on the lower-fee Polygon network
If you're concerned about Ethereum's gas fees, consider using one of these alternatives, especially the tokens on the Polygon network, which typically have transaction fees of less than $0.01.
Ethereum Payment Security
To ensure the security of your Ethereum payments:
- Always access Traffic Creator through the official website (https://trafficcreator.org) to avoid phishing attempts
- Verify the Ethereum address before sending funds - Traffic Creator will never ask you to send ETH via email or support chat
- Use two-factor authentication (2FA) for your Traffic Creator account and your cryptocurrency wallet, if available
- Consider using a hardware wallet for storing your Ethereum if you frequently make large transactions
- Be aware of common scams in the cryptocurrency space, such as fake support representatives asking for your private keys
