What is Bitcoin?
Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency that operates without a central authority or intermediary. Launched in 2009, it enables peer-to-peer transactions on a global scale with relatively low fees. Bitcoin transactions are verified through a process called mining and recorded on a public ledger known as the blockchain.

Confirmations & Troubleshooting
Understanding Confirmations
Bitcoin transactions need confirmations on the blockchain:
Pending (0 confirmations)
Transaction broadcasted but not yet in a block. Payment detected but not processed.
Confirmed (1+ confirmations)
Transaction included in a block. We typically require 1-3 confirmations.
Confirmation time varies (minutes to hours) based on network fees and congestion.
Troubleshooting Bitcoin Payments
After 30 mins, verify amount/address, check a blockchain explorer (e.g., Blockstream), ensure adequate fee. Contact support with username, TXID, and wallet screenshot.
DO NOT send to the expired address. Start the purchase again for a new address/rate. If you already sent, contact support immediately.
Sent less: May not process automatically. Contact support; you might need to send the difference. Sent more: Processed for ordered amount. Contact support about the excess for credit or refund.
Fees & Security
Transaction Fees & Exchange Rates
Be aware of:
- Exchange Rate: BTC amount uses a real-time rate, locked for the timer duration.
- Bitcoin Network Fees: You pay network fees (to miners), separate from the purchase amount.
- Processing Fee: A small crypto processing fee might apply (shown at checkout).
Bitcoin Payment Security
To stay secure:
- Use the official website (https://trafficcreator.org).
- Verify the address on the payment page; we never ask for BTC via email/chat.
- Use 2FA on your Traffic Creator account and wallet.
- Consider a hardware wallet for large amounts.
